Word Book #2 Sneak Peak

I've been trying to get back to my craft room, but let me tell you it has been a struggle. I did get a new acquisition - a 13x19" photo printer! Woohoo - this should encourage the young scrapbooker, crafter, right? Well I had to do some rearranging in my little room with lots of stuff... and here is how it ended up
There is a small wooden shelving unit which holds a few things that is not visible in this picture, but this pretty much is my setup now, printer one on the desk, printer two on the shelf to the right...

So anyways on to the sneak peak - which I just finished tonight and is all in part to the newest member of the Nance family, Rob and my nephew, Asher, made his arrival!

Here's the sneaks:

Fox cutout from Create-A-Critter
Raccoon cutout - not exactly how I wanted it to turn out, but still like it!
Love this little hedgehog!
Not quite the whole book, but a view from its closed position.

These (this and the last word book sneak) should be getting mailed to their respective families, and once that has happened I will post more details - full pictures. Hope you liked this one!

I don't believe that my cousin reads this, and if so I guess this will be a spoiler for her. Got my LOL and Gigabyte stamps in the mail and made this simple card:

Word books = work in progress

I've been working on a "new" thing for me, a word book, actually 2 of them.... I have finished one and am about 40% done with the second. They are turning out super cute and look forward to sharing the full finished products with you....  but for now, just these few sneak peaks will have to do :)

Enjoy, and remember this is my first attempt at a word book! More to come, after they are given out!

2 of 2

Here is a simple cute card for a mr. Patrick, who's birthday is in a few days.

Used create a critter

I wish there would have been a little more dimension, but I am pleased with how it looks anyways. I really really love the dinosaur, which I used an embossing folder on (Sizzix)

Latest projects... 1 of 2

Here is a real quick project I made yesterday, in about 10 minutes...

Now, let me tell you about the awesome deal that brought this idea around. One man store - MENARDS

...who would have thought right? Well they had a fabulous sale going on this past friday-today and it was buy any cricut cartridge (max. of 4 - not brand new, but some classics) for $25 a piece (already a good deal) and get a $20 mail-in rebate in the mail. End price = $5 a cartridge! I could not pass that up, and I am not in need of any cartridges...

But they also had a similar deal on their cricut 12x12 mats (max of 4 packs of 2)...

So ending deal - I walked out $90 + tax, 2 cricut cartridges (Graphically speaking and Jubilee) , 4 mats and 2 rebates for $70. That makes a happy scrapbooker - especially when one cartridge usually is priced for that amount ($90)

So this simple card was made using jubilee cartridge and some bakers twine from Pink by Design. Simple, yet cute. I wrote my own sentiment on the inside :)

Time for a change...

I'm starting a photography blog...

I'm going to try to maintain it as well or better than this one (plus maintaining my personal one too :o ).

Anyways, if you're interested in photography, here's my NEW, as in 2 seconds ago, Jessica Ledergerber Photography (updated link 3/18/2013 - not so new anymore!)

There aren't any posts there yet, so sorry. I am doing that in a minute!!

And I won't be posting here any more about photos... just wanted to make that announcement!

July 22, 2011

My long time mentor, friend and adopted sister recently got a job as a principal, but now she needs to move quite a bit further away. I was so happy for her, I decided to send her a card ...

Here's how it turned out..

It has been a while I know...

Here is a series of a few cards I made recently for a family's job... There were 3 of each, for a total of 9. She works at a hospital and some kids are going to be donating quilts for the new pediatric ward.

My Xyron!

With a bit of help from Meijer, I purchased some pink spray paint to re-vamp my $0.25 purchase. When I got it, it was in desperate need of a wash and sort of reminded me of... baby poo... it was a pale tan/orange... well after some "surgery"... look how pretty it is!!
B-E-A-U-tiful Xyron!! Thanks Traci!

I leave for vacation on this Tuesday night and just a few days after I return, I am upgrading to a 2-bedroom apartment with my fiance! Since my fiance/wife duties will include all cards and such, I will have more room, our so I would like I may be able to produce a little bit more. *fingers crossed*
