Latest projects... 1 of 2

Here is a real quick project I made yesterday, in about 10 minutes...

Now, let me tell you about the awesome deal that brought this idea around. One man store - MENARDS

...who would have thought right? Well they had a fabulous sale going on this past friday-today and it was buy any cricut cartridge (max. of 4 - not brand new, but some classics) for $25 a piece (already a good deal) and get a $20 mail-in rebate in the mail. End price = $5 a cartridge! I could not pass that up, and I am not in need of any cartridges...

But they also had a similar deal on their cricut 12x12 mats (max of 4 packs of 2)...

So ending deal - I walked out $90 + tax, 2 cricut cartridges (Graphically speaking and Jubilee) , 4 mats and 2 rebates for $70. That makes a happy scrapbooker - especially when one cartridge usually is priced for that amount ($90)

So this simple card was made using jubilee cartridge and some bakers twine from Pink by Design. Simple, yet cute. I wrote my own sentiment on the inside :)

Time for a change...

I'm starting a photography blog...

I'm going to try to maintain it as well or better than this one (plus maintaining my personal one too :o ).

Anyways, if you're interested in photography, here's my NEW, as in 2 seconds ago, Jessica Ledergerber Photography (updated link 3/18/2013 - not so new anymore!)

There aren't any posts there yet, so sorry. I am doing that in a minute!!

And I won't be posting here any more about photos... just wanted to make that announcement!

My long time mentor, friend and adopted sister recently got a job as a principal, but now she needs to move quite a bit further away. I was so happy for her, I decided to send her a card ...

Here's how it turned out..

Used:
Sun from Just because cards
Stamps and baker twine by Pink by design
Buttons from Michaels

It has been a while I know...

Here is a series of a few cards I made recently for a family's job... There were 3 of each, for a total of 9. She works at a hospital and some kids are going to be donating quilts for the new pediatric ward.

My Xyron!

With a bit of help from Meijer, I purchased some pink spray paint to re-vamp my $0.25 purchase. When I got it, it was in desperate need of a wash and sort of reminded me of... baby poo... it was a pale tan/orange... well after some "surgery"... look how pretty it is!!
B-E-A-U-tiful Xyron!! Thanks Traci!
